Top 5 Superhero Games on iOS in Europe: Q3 2024 Performance

The third quarter of 2024 saw notable performances from the top superhero games on the iOS platform in Europe. According to Sensor Tower data, these games experienced varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Super Fighter 3: Open City by Starplay Games showed impressive growth. Weekly revenue began at approximately $1.3K in early July and consistently increased, reaching nearly $2.7K by the end of September. Downloads rose from about 17.4K to a peak of 47.6K in late August, before settling at around 40.3K in the last week of September. Weekly active users mirrored these trends, growing from around 116K to over 192K by quarter's end.

Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir maintained steady revenue, averaging around $3.2K throughout the quarter. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 16.9K in late July and ending at approximately 10.5K in September. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at about 119K and ending at 110K.

The Superhero League from Lion Studios saw a decrease in engagement. Revenue declined from $457 in early July to $190 by the end of September. Downloads followed a downward trend, dropping from 13.3K to 2.8K. Similarly, active users decreased from 61.9K to 38K over the quarter.

Marvel Contest of Champions by Kabam Games, Inc. began the quarter with significant revenue of $396K, which then stabilized around $140K to $233K in subsequent weeks. Downloads showed a slight decline from 9.9K to 8.4K by September end, while active users decreased from 77.5K to 74.2K.

Lastly, The Superhero League 2, a new entry from Lion Studios, showed promising early engagement. Although revenue was modest, downloads surged to 68K by mid-September. Active users increased rapidly, reaching 89.3K by the end of the quarter.
